I'm Travis McCraw, owner of Clear Water Trading Co. out of North, Mississippi, where the creeks run clear after a rain and the woods are where I learned how to actually test gear.
I didn't start Clear Water to be another outdoor store. I started it because I was tired of buying stuff that looked good online and fell apart in the field. Zippers that bust on the second trip. Waders that leak. Hats that lose their shape.
Clear Water Trading Co. is my answer to that. We make things that work better and last longer — no gimmicks, just honest materials and clean design that solves real problems.
That photo on the homepage? That's me. Red jacket, sitting on top of a mountain looking out over miles of green. I've fished the little creeks in North Mississippi and I've hiked to places where the air gets thin. The gear has to work in both places, or I won't sell it.
Everything you see here — the rope trucker hats, the waders, the hammocks, the camp gear — it's stuff I've either used, tested, or designed to fix a problem I ran into myself.
