The rod you reach for when you're miles from the truck.

Most travel rods are either bulky 4-piece sticks that still need a tube, or telescopic toys that wobble and kill accuracy. This is neither. It's a compact backcountry outfit that packs down to backpack size and fishes like a full-size trout tool.

Built around the light-and-fast ethos that won Skwala best boots this year — maximum mobility, speed, and comfort. Telescopic graphite composite blank that collapses small for glovebox, kayak hatch, or alpine pack, but loads deep with feedback, not wobble. Sensitive enough to detect subtle takes on a #16 dry, with enough backbone for panfish and small bass in tight water.

Matched large-arbor mini reel — fully machined aluminum frame, ported to cut weight, with a smooth carbon drag that protects light tippets. Fast line pickup when a brookie runs at you in a small creek. Pre-spooled with WF floating line so you rig in minutes, not at the trailhead.

This is your small water specialist. Think alpine lakes, blue lines, backcountry beaver ponds, and kayak missions where space matters more than distance.
